Thanks Reggie.....too bad I was gigging both nights I would have loved to have seen it. Luke looks in slightly better shape than a few years ago....I hope he has gotten some help for his drinking. The last few times I saw him play he was totally wasted.

I've covered 14 Luke gigs over the last three years. If it's a "charity" gig with that festive feel it's time to throw down a few. But if it's a regular Toto,Doves of Fire or Lukather/Larry Carlton gig it's totaly professional. I even ran into him at the Rainbow before a Lukather/ Larry Carlton gig at the Key Club & he refused my offer of a round of drinks for his table.

Well Reggie,

I can tell you he definitely was not professional as far as drinking goes at his Doves of Fire gig at the other Baked Potato that was on Sunset in April, 2001....He was knocking back drink after drink....and it was scary to watch. He did the same at David Garfield's Carlos Vega gig at the same venue five months previous to that. But the incredible thing is, he made almost no mistakes even being that fd up. Maybe he was going through a bad time but like I said he looks better now and I hope he is.
