This show was awesome. Possibly the best concert I've been to. I've seen the guys twice before and always thoroughly well played. But there's a different vibe when Luke is playing with 3 high school buddies. And Joe was just ON FIRE! I was concerned his voice wouldn't be very good after the abuse it took in the 1980s, but he was just fantastic

Where have u been? Yea, his voice did take a shit in the 80s. That's why he was thrown out. Even during the TOTO XX tour, he still was rough. But he has made quite a comeback.

Critical part of the interview....

AV: Can we expect to hear any new music from Toto in the future?

David Paich: “I think so. I can’t really say for sure, but it’s something we always talk about—let’s cut a new record. So, don’t be surprised if you see something out by next year."

Even between last year and this year, quite a difference. He's lost a ton of weight and was bounding around the stage with major energy. The weight off has really helped his singing too.

Yep, that caught my eye too, that's as committed as he's been to a new album so far, so I'm slowly beginning to cross my fingers that something might actually happen!

Good interview all round actually, though I was amused by the use of 'How Does it Feel' as an example of the rockier nature of 'Isolation'!
