I remember this song was out when I was in college. I really liked it. I hadn't heard it in YEARS until the other day when one of the radios stations here was doing an A-Z of their library and played it. It was between Paint it Black and Panama! lol!

I always thought it was cool that Toto had a song for both my sister and I....Angela and Pamela.

Angela - there's another great song - again the same lost love / losing the girl (insert name) themed song (I think this is a Toto trait). It is, in comparison, more haunting, and certainly not as peppy as Pamela. Pamela, though, great groove.

Yeah for sure, its a fine tune indeed. I haven't heard "Angela", though I'll find that sometime today. I wish here in Australia, they played more than just Africa. Thats on the radio once, and sometimes twice a day. We don't have as many radio stations as the USA.

Lately we have been getting more stations popping up, but nothing main stream just local suburb broadcasts.

"Pamela" always reminds me of friend of mine so I looked it up not too long ago. Yeah, I liked the song a LOT. What a great vibe to it, and I love the melody of the chorus...the way it goes up just a little higher than you think it should.
