Looking back at the TotoNetwork, what did you think of it?

I must have missed most of the drama you spoke of...I do seem to recall Luke's son Trevor speaking up at a certain time about a year ago, when there was an active feedback directed at the perception that Luke had hurt the band with his colorful commentary....but I don't really think that Luke's candor on the forum really had an impact as great as you suggest (rather, other factors, that were kept private to the actual band members played a factor)...The board is definitely 'hanger on' heavy, but Luke was really the only consistent band member to contribute, and he should be given credit for this, I think..

I concede it wasn't without it's faults, and the layout/forum, from a design standpoint, was horribly awkward, but I still think it was mostly a success. Not many bands, particularly older bands who didn't grow up with the internet, would even consider an idea like that that allowed access and communication with fans, and for that they/Luke should be given all the credit in the world.

The Network just seemed to be more about the fans rather than TOTO.
