Hopefully Luke or Andrew will weigh in.
My only guess is, maybe it's Bobby's new band and the promoter is confused?

Luke's voice is a well-oiled machine from his recent solo dates, maybe he will sing lead?

Simon and Mike got to be there too. Would be sweet to see Jenny and Jackie there too.
The_Noble_Cause wrote:Really doubt Mike will be there from the way things sound.
Personally, if they are going to re-form, even if only briefly, I'd like Joe and Bobby involved.

Ewwwwwwwweeee you're joking right?

Bobby just can't do it anymore. I heard them live on the last tour, and it was rough!

Fans have said that Byron's 'Live in Paris' vocals were fixed in post prod.
I don't know if that's true or not.
Judging by the Past-to-Present cd, I do think his vocals are better than given credit.
As for Bobby, he's hit or miss.
At 60 years old, I think the power and tenor-range of his voice is still pretty impressive.
This was filmed just last month.

WalrusOct9 wrote:Eh, I disagree about Greg. I thought he fit in just fine...him and some of the Toto guys went back almost 30 years, so even though he wasn't in the band, there was definitely a connection and good vibe there that wouldn't have existed with a more unknown/random keyboard player, regardless of skill level. Plus, Greg was a wonderfully kind and gracious individual the couple times I met him, and seemed genuinely thrilled about the gig every time I saw them.

Since when did TOTO, or any band, need a reason to tour?![]()
With Steve Porcaro onboard, maybe the tour is in honor of his brother, with the proceeds going to science/medical research?
Just guessing aloud here.
