Bobby guest spot on the next cd? You decide.

YAY - Bobby was gracious in allowing Joe to sing a track on FIB and permitting him to join the band on stage occasionally. It would only be fair. Bobby and Joe have also both spoken highly of each other. While the microphone now fully belongs to Joe, there is no reason to sleight Bobby from this momentous recording occasion. The man was TOTO's first vocalist, and has also never passed up a chance to praise the band as having the finest musicians in the world.

NAY: Are you crazy? Joe respected the legacy and refrained from touring as "Mr. Toto" with second rate wedding players. Can't say the same for Bobby. Like an unreformed ex-con, Bobby continues to besmirch Luke and Paich's hard work by playing musically inferior versions of great songs, even going so far as to cover material he had no hand in singing. This guy is a fast change artist and deserves to be relegated to Indian casino lounge hell.

Well?
I vote YAY. Just for one track, get Fergie, Bobby, and Joe all together.

Always praises his band mates???

He says ON VIDEO within the past few months that his current band of guys...local euro players who are good players for sure are the "Best Band he has played with"....and i have heard references to the real Toto being a Bobby Kimball cover band!!! Dude, c'mon!!!! Lukather, Porcaro, Paich, Phillips...Jesus Christ!!!!

I have known Bobby for 20 plus years, worked with him, sang with him and was very close... These comments really hit me hard...as I respected Bobby deeply for so many years on so many levels...the mini fued with Luke was rediculous, and he apologized and passed it off as his webmaster who ran his Facebook....so a pass is givin there...but man, be real....Bobby graciously LET JW sing on FIB???? I would say that was probably someone else's idea...

I really do wish Bobby the best luck in the world...but alot of these moves are PR nightmares and I was stunned when he did them...as far as him doing a cameo with them I don't see that happening...AND JW is on fire right now!!!!!!

I'm going to go ahead and put you in the "Nay" category.

YAY-1
NAY - 1

Who's next?

No. Just because that all sounds way too complicated. And too much has come to pass.

I like your third option. With these guys, never say never.

In the last few years, I've seen them perform with Bobby and Fergie and this summer I'm seeing them perform with Joe.

Only one I count out is Byron, simply because his legacy was so minimal and he was really disliked by fans. (Always thought we was pretty good as a live singer though, just a bad fit)

Goin' Home off Joseph Williams "3" record features Joe, Fergie and Bobby, and was written by Joe, Paich and Jeff Porcaro. You can't ask for more and it's all there. No reason for the three to feature on the same track again I'd say - regardless of Bobby's current escapades.

It won't happen, but I wouldn't complain if it did. Honestly, neither Bobby nor Joe had a huge hand in the songwriting (yes, I know Joe had some co-writes) so it wouldn't really matter to me who was singing, so long as the band was putting out new tunes and was happy about them.

With this band, I say, "never, say never". Bobby came back, after a whole bunch of moaning about him for years. Fergie did a guest spot, after a whole bunch of moaning about him too.

These guys are kinda like brothers. They fight and stuff, but then seem to make up.
