Maybe you should try a shandy.

I have no clue what a shandy is - LOL

I'm planning to see Roger Hodgson, he'll be up there with an orchestra. I'll probably see him for two nights and hopefully get in a Poker tournament too :)

Beer with a splash of 7-up.

LOL, no apologies needed. I thought it was obvious that I was female, especially with the Rob Thomas picture I have on here and I talk about "hot" guys all the time - LOL Oh, and the big give away is how long I can babble on here all day and night

My brother in law is a garbage man and he received cases and cases of beer as gifts or tips for taking the garbage. He has so much beer that he just gives it away to his family. It's nice to have in the fridge when we have guests over or our poker party.

Also, sure, the first few sips, chugs or even first glass might taste like shit, but trust me, it gets better.. Girls look a lot better after 3 hours of pounding brewskies..especially Canadian Beers.

I've tried all different kinds of beers and still don't like the taste. Hey, guys look a lot better too after drinking a lot of shots of Peppermint Shots with in an hour, way better. Oh and females too - LOL

Back to the original topic, thankfully gas has dropped over 30 cents in the last 18 hours around here. We're "back" to under $3 ($2.99) again. Woo-Hoo.

$3.05 around here today. Last year during this week the prices were at $1.88. Yikes, that's a big difference.

I was at my parents house on Monday looking at the old family slides, I loved the one with our "old" pontiac's with the gas station in the background, the price for regular gas was only .56 cents a gallon.

I clearly remember, for all you young whippersnappers out there, paying 33 cents a gallon for regular gas at a Tenneco station for my old Plymouth Duster, Frieda. She was a good and faithful auto for me and I always wonder what she would think if I put the same grade in her old tank for, as of yesterday, 2.87 cents a gallon.

I paid $.67 for the 1st gallon of gas I put in my 1970 Chrysler Newport right after I passed my test on October 30th 1979.....

I believe I was getting about 8 miles to the gallon, but that 383 engine had some GET-UP-AND-GO !!!!!!!!!

Man at least you can buy it. I traveld from Atlanta back to Slidell LA a few days back, the best purchase I made (at my wife's insistance) was three 5 gallon gas containers, which I filled up. The gas lines along the gulf coast were horrible, dating me back to when STYX was in thier prime and the OPEC ripoff. Miles long, then you never know if they are going to run out. Poor people all over 1-10 stranded. Heard it is starting to subside.
