This was sooooo exciting for me, it was a great concert, Ford Amphitheater is a great venue even though I-4 is it's back yard lol
Neal is a guitar playing machine and was so fantastic to see him live. How do you get your fingers to move that fast and not screw up...he is amazing.
Geez I'd love to see Eddie Van Halen now :D
The Venue was nearly sold out, and the placed was rockin, The band began with the 70's era and older songs, it got a bit boring for me although it was fantastic guitar work with Neal here, and Deen (keyboardist)was able to show off his voice with quite a few numbers, which surprised us....good sounding.
when Augeri came back on after this he rocked the place, he and his cream leather pants :P lol,
his voice was great, they played 4 songs from Generations:
the Place in your heart, Every Generation, Gone Crazy and mentioned our troops and dedicated the song "Out of harms way" to them, very rocky song, the entire place were on their feet....great touch.
Darren will be on in a few to give his opinion and set list.
D and I had a great time, dancing singing drinking lol...yea and some woman came up to him and started dancing with him singing don't ya miss Perry???? and He said NO lol

Glad you had a great time.
I have seen this lineup 5 times prior and they are certainly on top of their game this year (most especially Augeri-he's never sounded better).
Oh, and for the record, Deen is the drummer.
Jon's the keyboardist.
