Faulty furnaces could be a danger this winter, but a new one can cost up to $2500. That`s why the "Warmth from the Heart" foundation is replacing heating systems in the homes of Peoria`s less fortunate. Also at the end of October, the rock band Styx is headlining a benefit concert in the river city. All profits go to the foundation so those in need can stay warm this winter. "They work when they put bubble gum and duct tape on them and make the wires spark and they work so there area a lot of unsafe furnaces, as well. We`re also trying to prevent them from causing even more of a tragedy, carbon monoxide, fires risk. Things like that," Randy Rundle with Warmth from the Heart
