ALBUM SALES

Postby yogi » Sat Nov 05, 2005 9:35 pm

Heres one I dont think has been brought up before. Recently with our Journey friends we have been discussing the total sales of the REALLY REALLY popular albums. How about three lesser known Styx albums??

Before Styx had a an A&M Greatest Hits CD, A&M put out Classics Volume 15 or 18 or whatever that featured Styx. It really was their first Greatest Hits package. What kind of sales did it take in???

What about The Best Of Styx sales??- Wooden Nickle

Caught In The Act?????

Does anyone know?????

Caught in the Act made it to 35 on charts, but never made it gold (250,000 for a double cd)-ERIC

I LOVED the A&M GH cd. A friend of mine owned that disc and it rekindled my love of Styx.

My guess is the Wooden Nickel recordings are getting more exposure (in the Collection CD), and maybe more purchases, just from being listed prominently on all the online sites under Styx.

Nothing I know for certain, but the WN collection stays among the top sellers for Styx on Amazon.

It would be so interesting to know the actual sales figures for this one.
