If you were a baseball palyer Suite, 3,000 hits would insure your place in the hall of fame ! Not quite sure what it means in MR land though.....it's almost unprecidented !

Just wait until there's more Dennis and Styx stuff to post!!!

3000 Hits!

Postby jimmy19029 » Sun Dec 11, 2005 4:32 am

Wow! Pretty impressive Suite! I don't think my total postings on all boards add up to that. But I am proud to see that my Deep Purple review on the concert reviews section has over 1300 hits from people who've read and enjoyed it. And my Styx review from last year seems to be a popular one as well.

Yes it is, very scary  You would think with all the extra curricular "stuff" that I do, I wouldn't have the time to post

I'm SO happy to be your favorite Packer fan, well, maybe not this year - LOL I hope you'll be looking forward to my Dennis/Styx posts, no more Packer posts, I just can't do it anymore. Unless anyone would like to make a bet for this Sunday's game??? :?

Actually it's pretty sad with all these postings - LOL I'm trying to get them all in before I have to get a "real" job next year - LOL

I really enjoy reading your reviews, they're so detailed!! I'm terrible writing reviews. I wish I would've seen the Dream Theater/Queensryche tour. I only saw Dream Theater solo, the guitarist gave me the set list and a few guitar picks, those guys are so nice and I love their music. I'm looking forward to Queensryche new cd, Operation: mindcrime 2 that will be coming out in March!!!!

I would like to see the new Foreigner line-up too after reading your review too :)

Please do. After I read the reviews I want to see these shows, especially bands that I'm not too familiar with. I also like how you add music history with some of your reviews.

Oh, I know what I wanted to ask you, would you see Ambrosia again? I might be interviewing Joe soon at his studio. I'll have to ask you for you help :)

Heck, for the longest time I couldn't stand the Beatles music, I was talked into seeing Paul McCartney and my opinion changed big time on the Beatles music. I don't like ALL of the Beatles music, but I'm not going to do the ACK on them anymore.

I would like to see the new Foreigner line up :)

Suite Hits 3000

Postby jimmy19029 » Wed Dec 14, 2005 10:41 am

Sure, I'd love to help out with Ambrosia. Most the guys in the band usually recall me as the history guy(try to know my bands inside out) if not necessarily by first name. Firefall do know me by name and good naturedly refer to me as their stalker since I'm one of the few that e-mailed them questions about their history.
Ambrosia are still well worth seeing. Joe sang a great many of their big songs and his and Dave Pack's voices were startingly similar. Maybe that's why they blended so well. I'd like to see how Robert's slotting in by now. Tollack sings very well and so does Ricky Constantino, their sometime guy who fills in for them. Shem probably won't be back on a perm basis since he's with Kenny Loggins now. I was glad I did get to see them with Dave Pack. Sorry he won't be doing anymore shows. Glad they have a permanent guitarist now, Doug Jackson. He's awesome.
I started with The Beatles. As a toddler I sang along with the songs. After classical music they were the first music I heard.
