Yeah, Kimberly Dahme is her name. Tom Scholz's girlfriend. There was a lot of groans from Boston fans because her country song wound up on CA. But she's a good addition to all the harmonizing and stuff. Good bassist too.

I don't believe Kimberly is Scholz's girlfriend unless there's been a recent development. I'm sure he wouldn't mind that though since he was divorced several years back. She's not quite the caliber of Fran Sheehan or David Sikes on bass but is nice to look at and sings some pretty good songs. She's not the only singer. Brad Delp is still there singing the stuff from the first three albums and Fran Cosmo sings what he sang on the fourth and fifth albums and helps out alot on the real high notes.
Other than back in the day when Steve Walsh used to do his keyboard hand stands, Kansas has never been a band who moved around alot on stage. It never bothered me when a band stayed still as I was always more into the music anyway for a band like them.

looking at their schedule, they are basicly touring by themselves. Looks like the fair circuit again.

LOL!! I can't wait to see where they'll be playing this year!! Yes and I'm sure we'll have fun with the places they're playing at and yes the same with Dennis - all in fun!!

Suite, Kansas mostly plays in theaters and casinos now and doesn't really draw big ticketwise to the larger outdoor shed venues that Styx usually play when teamed with REO or whomever. Sometimes they'll be the opener at one of those venues, like they were for Yes(in 2000) and Styx(in 1996)

I don't remember if I ever saw Kansas (LOL) it sounds like they're just another classic rock band going to the same venues over and over too.

Too bad they just stand there, how BORING!!

I remember seeing Walsh in the band STREETS!! That was a fun concert! I just heard a song from STREETS on the radio, I just about died.

Does anyone have a STREETS cd????

KISS puts on an awesome show. If you'r in the first ten rows it will be like you're in a tanning booth with the heat from their lights. Bring your lotion. Not a sit down moment at any of their shows.

As far as Kansas goes, I've seen them a couple of times and they do absolutely nothing for me. One of the more uncreative live shows I've been to, not to mention they have no charisma. Both times it has been painful with no energy coming from the stage.

Well Kansas weren't exactly at the top of their game in the 90s Styxfan, I'll give you that, if that's when you saw them. Walsh had but a fraction of his once mighty voice on any given night then. Now he sounds much better. I would like them to add another guitarist/keyboardist like they had before. As a five piece now there are sometimes a few holes in the sound. Their light show and stage effects were more dazzling in the 70s to be sure. Now they're mostly concentrating on the music which is okay by me but I can see how some of y'all might be left a bit cold asJourney, Styx, REO and others certainly have a much more charismatic stage presence. AHH, but I love our boys from Kansas.
I have the first Streets album...on record, Suite. I remember If Love Should Go getting airplay in late 1983, then their record company sort of stopped promoting them and just hung the second LP out to dry in early 1985.
Kiss gave quite a dazzling show when I saw them. If it's showmanship with all the bells and whistles you want, they certainly wrote the book on it!
