OT - RTZ

Listening to the first RTZ CD right now. I forgot how good this is! I bought it for a dollar several years ago. It sounds more like Boston than Boston does and it is better than anything Boston has done since 3rd Stage.

I just listened to that the other day. That album was awesome. Never got much of a push though from the label. It's too bad.

Brad sings for a Beatles cover group now called BeatleJuice.

Didn't Glen take part in BeatleJuice at one point?

Yeah the first RTZ album was pretty good... sound is a bit dated, but that really doesn't detract from it at all. "When Your Love Comes Back Around" seemed a bit predictable - but Face The Music and Another Side are great songs.

Face the Music was a great tune. I remember first hearing it coming home from Bethlehem Musikfest back in 1991 and getting excited. Great to hear Brad Delp wail again! I liked it better that Boston's 2002 release Corporate America.
It was cool to see When Your Love Comes Back Around hit the Top 40 in 1992. After that point it seemed rthat our Claasic Rocxk bands were never able to get anywhere near the Top 40 again.

"All You've Got" was a minor hit too. The radio station I worked at played all of the singles, the one gettng the most airplay was "Until Your Love Comes Back Around". "Face The Music" got considerable airplay too and I even remember Open House Party playing "All You've Got" and the guys were interviewed live on the show (I was working and "board-op" for OHP at the time, basically baby-sitting the radio station)
