Today was the first time Favre has been shut out in 222 starts. Is it him or the team? I would like to have seen him traded to a decent team with some weapons.

With all due respect to Mr. Favre...I think he should remain in Green Bay. I actually do have tremendous respect for him. Though I also recognize that all good things do come to an end.

He is too careless with the ball. I wonder if he prepares as carefully as he used to. But he's always been a gunslinger...

A moment of silence for the Cheeseheads. :? Cheese wedges at half mast!

Oh well, you now know how we Texan "fans" feel, eh. I have no clue what it feels like to win games that count.

And to top it all off, my Texas Longhorns have returned to the "real" world. :(

I know who's to blame...The Packers Offensive Line, they sucked...The pass protection stunk...

Suite, not to kick you when you’re down but the magic number on our bet is down to 2. The White Sox only need to win 2 more games or if the Brewers lose 2 games I win the bet for the season!  :o :D 8) :P

See..the difference between Suite and I is that I have no illusions. I don't start rattling about how great my team is and how they are going to the dance until I see what they have to give this year. I say they will win the division, but it will be another 8-8 year.

Besides, it's *almost* more fun to see the Packers lose then the Vikings win.

Suite, thought you would enjoy this nugget from espn.com:

Brett Favre threw two more interceptions in Green Bay's shutout loss yesterday, giving him 257 for his career -- just 20 shy of George Blanda's all-time record. Will ESPN start running a Bonds-esque "Chasing Blanda" scroll at the bottom of the screen as Favre goes after -- and inevitably passes -- this historic mark? I have no idea, although they should. But I'd like to throw a bone to all of the Favre apologists out there. In order to prevent their hero from breaking Blanda's mark, I say Favre's picks no longer be recorded as interceptions. Instead, they shall be called "gunslings." It's simply disrespectful to say: "Brett Favre stinks. He threw five more interceptions last night." To me, this sounds much better: "Did you see Brett Favre throw five gunslings last night? Man, what a gunslinger. He threw them so hard directly into the defenders' hands that he made them bleed. No one throws gunslings like Brett Favre."

Ok, Suite, there you have it. I will concede. Brett Favre is the best gunslinger EVER! Why, he may even outshine Daunte this year!
