Tommy has checked out of Styx

Postby rajah2165 » Thu Dec 28, 2006 2:04 pm

As he said in Everything is Cool

Check In..check out...

Tommy has checked out of Styx. He isn't into it anymore. He is off doing side projects with Jack Blades..

I am betting he does a side project with one DDY real soon....

He realizes that Styx as it exists today is a complete and utter failure...

I heard the add on the radio today
Man Gowan sounded like shit singing Grand Illusion
Merriville and The Genesee both in the area
Not a chance in hell do I see either show
This STYX game is over.

Post that on Chuck's blog and see what happens. :) It would be a sure fire way to stir the pot a little over there.

And they play Europe in April so Tommy and Dennis's side project will have to wait a little longer

Geez, Styx fans can be so silly...
Okay, so HOW long has DeYoung been out of Styx now? Give it up. Tommy and Jack have been wanting to do another album since right after the first Shaw Blades album came out. Styx has been touring non stop for the past 9 years or something. The guy's entitled to record other stuff. Not to mention, that solo project with Jack has been in the can for a long time now and he's still with Styx.

God, don't you guys ever get tired of this endless dopey speculation on DeYoung coming back etc.? It's really boring.
I DID hear that they will be exuming John Panozzo and that he will be on drums for the next tour. Sorry Todd, you just weren't good enough....

geez.

I'm GLAD Tommy and Dennis and Glen have side projects. More Styx-oriented music for me!

Believe me, most people here would prefer that DeYoung and Styx do not reunite.

I guess...
Doesn't seem that way. One band that should reunite is Damn Yankees. THAT was a great band.

Jesus Perry, Brywool. What would we all do for amusement, then?

Me too! The more I can hear of the beautiful vocals of Dennis, Tommy/Jack and even Glen, and the less I hear of Munchkin and Reluctant Legend, the better I like it!

And mark me down as one who never wants Dennis back in Styx. That is totally over for me.

Bugsy
Change your hairdo. Change your name.
Congratulations! You're still the same.

If you think JY is litigation-crazy now, just wait how bad he will get if Tommy gets together with That Other Guy.

Right, but from everything I read, that was more record industry driven then DY driven.
I'd love to see them do something new.
