Shaw Blades note

Dear Friends,

We thought you'd like to know that in our third week since its release, "INFLUENCE" charted today at #117 on Billboard Magazine's Top 200 Albums.

This comes purely from the fact that so many of you have voted with your feet and gone to the stores to buy "Influence," whether in a physical CD or a virtual copy downloaded from iTunes and other similar sites. Yesterday we were featured among a group of 8 records in the "What's Hot" section on the front page of the iTunes Store. It's official--"Shaw Blades INFLUENCE" is HOT!!!

We've been in the Top 20 at Amazon, CD Universe and some sales were up almost 1100%, that's eleven hundred percent! Stores are reordering now. Friends at radio have been adding "Your Move" after first saying no! Because of YOU!

To say the least we are thrilled that our new CD has been getting the kind of love and attention it has.

Thank you from the bottom of our Rock'n'Roll hearts.

Cheers,

The Shaw Blades Team

What was it Tommy said on that VH1 thing? "We've been on those labels. They expect results."

Guess those labels that passed on them don't know what they're doing. Not that this is any big news or anything.

Monker,

Apologies if you have posted this already, but did you buy the 'Influence' cd and, if so, what do you think?

I never thought I would be a fan of any 'covers' cd, but this one is great~ :D

Great! Good for them . . . I hope it will go on to do even better. It's a worthy piece of work.

DANG- Shaw looks like a junkie these days. I love him, but he looks horrible. Nice BUS!
Anybody know what software T uses to make these short films? Cool.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Yes, I bought it last weekend. I wasn't sure about some of the song choices. They seemed very, I don't know, 'tree huggerish', I guess. But, I also really like it...especially, "Like a Rock", "Dance With Me", "Sound of Silence" and of course, "Your Move".
