Rain is a rocking blaster
Very unique songs on this thing

I'm leaning towards Rain as my favorite, but I haven't quite decided yet. Crossing the Rubicon seems to stick in my head a lot.

Going on almost listening to it non-stop for 24 hours!

I've listened to it once so far since finding it here in Edmonton.

I must say, the HMV's here are getting lots of copies (there were 4 more left, I was expecting them to get only 1 in).

I'm going to listen to it a few more times before I give an honest review, because I was with my gf last night and were were talking about some of the songs. She for one said "Jody, I really don't care for the female harmonies.. in some places they sound really 'preachy'. She was being honest and I appreciated it.

Favs right now:

Crossing The Rubicon (If this isn't about his former band, I don't know what is lol)
Don't Believe
Turn Off CNN (Heard this at soundcheck in Edm in Nov.. so new Glen didn't even know the chords! lol)

The one thing that I did notice was there wasn't a "moving" Dennis ballad for me, ala Desert Moon, Hello God, etc.

And for the "prelude-12" near clone.. Mr. Deyoung, don't be surprised if the family of Mr. John C contact your lawyers, you're getting a wee bit close to sounding like his song. (Just an observation)..

I'll come back with a more detailed review shortly, if work and other things permit.

Best Solo Album though? hmmm.. Jury's still out on that one.
