Hi Everyone!

I am new here and am pleased to meet all of you. I have been reading the posts and love the lively debate. I love styx - especially Tommy Shaw! My favorite albums are Pieces of Eight, Cornerstone, and Cyclorama. The songs that have been most important to me are Come Sail Away, Sing For the Day, and She Cares. I had an "awakening" and discovered the Lord while going through some very rough times. Those songs really helped me through some rough times and helped me to start my walk with God. In fact, the first song I listened to after being born again was "She Cares" and that feeling comes back to me everytime I hear it.

I haven't been able to see Styx for a few years (the last show I saw was Konocti Harbor - it ROCKED). I have been battling pretty severe depression and I can't really leave the house. Does anyone know where I can get any of the recent shows on DVD?

Welcome in! You will find many kinds here - some cynical - some just plain annoying - and some informative.

My best advice to someone new is to read and get perspective on where everyone is in their views and reserve judgment. There is a lot of different kinds of discussion that go on here and there are "camps".. But we don't usually let the camp we're in get in the way of being friendly and respectful of each other - despite our differences.

We do, however, engage in some pretty serious - and sometimes brutal - discussions
