Dennis Or REO What Would You Do??????

Just found out about reo in wausau wisconsin on 8/1. I had originally planned on seeing dennis the same day in watertown seeing how that one is totally free. This is a very interesting dillema. Any advice out their?

buy both DVD's and stay home that night....that way you can see both - a double feature !

DO NOT MISS A CHANCE TO SEE DENNIS. REO is out on the road just about every year and their stage show is still good but its declining... you can catch em next year if need be. Never know when Dennis will come through again... it took him 5 years to come back to me. Plus he put on a great show, far better than any of the 4 REO shows I've been to.

Aren't you the guy who tried to pick a fight with Glen Burtnik in the bathroom last year at a DDY concert - if so, I'd say that you should probably avoid a DDY concert.

Why dont you go see Dennis(wearing your Styx 2002 T) and send your mom to see REO(wearing her Jim Nabors Rocks T).

After the shows have mom hitch a ride over to where you are, jump into your goony goo goo mobile, and while munching on moon pies compare notes.

I have a worse dilemma for August 1st. I have tickets to see Queensryche & Ratt at the Wisconsin State Fair. I also have a few interviews lined up for the Warped Tour at the Marcus down in Milwaukee. Before all that I had plans and something special going on down in Chicago to see Radiohead at Grant Park for the Lollapalooza Festival.

And here Dennis will be performing just 15 minutes from my house on August 1st!!

Oh what shall I do??? :wink:

As for you, it's easy, see Dennis in Watertown, then since you live in the Milwaukee area, go see REO at the Wisconsin State Fair on July 31st. I have tickets for REO too. I'm hoping that Kevin doesn't talk too much at this one - LOL

And you can also see Dennis on Saturday, June 7th at the Taste of Summer in Waukesha

I thought this one would be a no brainer, and, was going to suggest seeing DDY over REO. But, it seems, it would be safer if you went to see REO.

Skip both. Dennis' show will be the same as it has been. REO...yech. Styx is the same...why bother..they play the same show they have been playing for awhile. Go see Rush if you can..you will get your moneys worth, even if you do not LOVE their music.

Well, regardless - what the hay - I say chance your arm and go see DDY. Maybe this time you'll bump into Suzanne after the show, and we can get another colorful report. :lol:

I'm just totally bummed that I have to miss so many DDY concerts because I'll be away at one or the other of the two family weddings I'm going to this year. Not complaining about the weddings mind you, family always comes first, but I'll have to miss 3 concerts because I can't be in two places at once. Maybe if I ask nicely, Suite will take pictures for me of the ones in Wis. ;-)

Not sure if I had officially discovered this board when that event happened - in fact I don't think I had but I went back and read some of the more interesting threads and that one popped out. To recap for those of you who don't want to find that string. This guy evidently was with his mom at a DDY show and essentially was haggling him from the crowd and was wearing a Styx Cyclorama t shirt. I think he started booing rather loudly and obnoxiously during Roboto - Suzanne I believe was flicking him off from the stage (there is a video link to that somewhere) - and then Glen and this guy got into it in the bathroom - I don't think any punches were thrown, but I do think there was a verbal exchange.

Sorry, buddy, but I believe after that event your post was something about I will never go see or listen to DDY again, so why are you even considering it? It sounds like you don't want to be at his concerts and he doesn't want you there either, so why are you even bringing it up here? Do you need attention that much?
