They're starting to sound more and more like the Tommy Shaw Band!
When are they going to start playing "Girls with Guns"???!!!

And I thought it was Dennis who was supposed to have the ego....

I agree with Froy, Miss America the opener? In fact any JY song the opener?

I saw REO a few years back actually open with Riding the Storm Out, not a good thing.

Why don't they open with Everything is Cool or go back to Borrowed Time. The two encores are probably the best and well known of the Shaw songs, so be it.

How about an encore of Midnight Ride and Renegade??

That way they can send the crowd home rockin! And JY gets some love that way too!

Yep he sure has
The orchestra show adds songs and The rock thing gets switched all the time
At least Dennis sounds good on Stage
Styx is horrendous..
Gowan is playing a sampled board
Gee what a wizard

Then how come Froy the last few times you've seen Dennis you've COMPLAINED that he doesn't change around his setlist? So what is it Froy?

Not even going to get into the Styx thing with you, because that will be feeding the troll yet again.

As for the liqour flowing bit.. I've been to plenty of shows where I've been sober but the people around me were absolutely tanked and the bar was busy.. Styx with Bad Co, George Thorogood, AC/DC, Four Horsemen, Guns N Roses, Metallica..

So there :P

That's called a blackout
You were so gone you thought you were straight..

WTF are you blabbering about now? So what, I'm an alcoholic now? Were you at the shows I mentioned with me? I can count the concerts I've been to drunk on one hand and still have fingers left. I don't enjoy drinking at concerts, it takes away from the experience.

I just hope that if I ever travel to the US to see Dennis again you won't be in the audience.

Miss America worked as an opener. Typically, there is a lot of excitement at the beginning of a concert and you can sometimes get away with a less than steller opening song. But to be honest, I thought Everything is Cool was a pretty lame opening number.

Renegade and BCW make sense as an encore too. Bands tend to keep their best for last. I realize it is an old trick, but it works.

I really enjoyed the new setlist.

Maybe in your world but the fact is the song should never be played again ever in any setlist
JY is horrific on that vocally.

The entire concert is less then stellar so it matches right up
They should have opened with Put Me On.
Period,

Renegade has been the encore for 12 years
Makes no sense to keep doing the same thing over and over again
Shows how lazy Shaw is..

Bands tend to keep their best for last. I realize it is an old trick, but it works.

Then do Fooling Yourself last
Thats Shaws best..

I really enjoyed the new setlist.

Of course you did...

But to get you back to reality...BCM is hardly one of their "best".

IT WASN"T EVEN A BIG HIT SONG WHEN THE ALBUM WAS OUT!

Agreed - but it certainly doesn't "Rock" - isn't that what new Styx is all about?
