Because your liberal way is working so well now. You're a moron.

That explains A LOT about you, Chow. Your way worked so much better from 2000-2008. I love how you Tea Party types forget how you had a president pretty much destroy the American Empire in 8 years. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE nominate Sarah Palin for 2012! I think your side is stupid enough to actually do that.
The land of the fat, stupid, and the Wal-mart shopping!

Actually I'd take 2000-2007 again in a heartbeat. It seems the country started going downhill right as the Democrats took over Congress in 2007. Your history is as flawed as your logic. Tell me one thing that the current administration is doing that is taking us in the right direction. Obama makes us look weak and rudderless. More taxes and more spending is not the answer.

You're right - the two wars, the katrina response, the repeal of environmental regulations, the stupidification of the US, the lack of science funding, and, oh yeah, the BUSH bail outs - those were all great. I'd take those too, Chow! I want a country of religious nuts and Tommy Shaw. I'm so happy you're on the planet!

The irony here is that Tommy Shaw is excruciatingly liberal, while Denis DeYoung is more conservative-leaning.

That's all. Just funny. As you were.

Typical liberal response. The Government needs to fix all of your problems. The Katrina response, what exactly was the government supposed to do? I was in New Orleans 2 days before Katrina hit. Everyone with half a brain got out of a city that was under mandatory evacuation that's under sea level before a category 5 hurricane hit it. FDR couldn't bail us out of the Great Depression with all of his New Deal. It took WWII to do that. How will Obama's so called plan do it? Government cannot fix the economy but it can hurt it like it's doing now. How you tie Tommy Shaw to any of this is as warped as any of your "logic". BTW, a democratic controlled congress voted for the "Bush" bailout, dumbass.

You're RIGHT! Brownie did a heck of a job and the Katrina response was perfect - a shining profile of our country. And yeah, FDR sucked. Hoover was much better. I think you've accepted one too many tea bags from Mark Foley and Larry Craig.

Ooooooh! That explains you sooo much! You're a right wing George Bush lover. Oh I really hope that there's a hell so that you and the rest of the religious conservatives can burn there.

LOL! Now this IS perfect evidence on how you jump to conclusions on the flimsiest of pretenses and go and spout a bunch of crap without know anything about what you are talking about...all based on what you WANT to believe and not the truth.

Did you cry to all your Styx fan friends on your "2400 baud internal" in 1992 when Bill Clinton won? Have you ever lost a sandwich in one of your fat rolls? Is there special "rascal" parking at the Tea Party conference?

No...I predicted 2yrs into his term that he would be reelected. Too funny!

Soooooooooooooooooooooo much I could say on this post about the way it is going. Being a Katrina refugee I will say this. If it took us 5 days (and yes it was 5 days) for the goverment to get to people in Pass Christian, Bay St. Louis and Waveland MS, how the crap can people in a different coumtry get mad becuase it has taken us 5 days or longer to get to them. Katrina was know about and peopl were givin warning. An Earthquake just happens. If we can not get to our people (with advanced warning) how the crap can someone blame us to get to there country in the same amount of time.
I knew people who were my friends, are no longer alive because they were either too stupid, didn't care, or didn't think this storm was that bad. And to put Tommy or Dennis or anyone else into this situation is just down right retarded!

Oh, please, in 1993 when the floods took out a major part of Des Moines, including the Water Works, we had federal aid LONG before 5 days. At that time, we were the largest American city to ever suffer a disaster that took out the drinking water. Five days is absolutely unacceptable...and you have to blame the guy at the top who sat around and waited for everybody else to provide leadership. W was not a leader. "First rule of leadership...it is ALWAYS your fault." -- Hopper. If a cartoon grasshopper knows that, you would think Republicans would too.

I persume were not going to get back to the original topic of this thread anytime soon. Maybe I should just change it to the "who do we blame when disaster strikes thread?"
