By 2012, who knows how Chuck's health will be. As of right now he is living on Borrowed Time if you look at the lifespan of the average AIDS victim. JY is already in his sixties. They have their own lives to live, and waiting around for Dennis shouldn't be a part of it. Were they just supposed to sit on their asses from 1999 to 2012 to make you happy, froy? Nope. They're doing very well for themselves. Gowan accepted an incredible offer and has kept the Styx torch gloriously burning. He's a great singer, a great pianist, and a great performer. He fits Styx like a glove, and judging by the reaction that he gets every time I've see him with Styx, the majority of the fans like him too.

Im not sure where you heard that Dennis was not going to tour with STYX after the 97 tour for 15 years?
The guy asked for 6 months how did you spin that into 15 years?
Heck if this was true, Dennis would have probably just said I retire right?
He is not the type of guy who would mess with everyone like Steve Perry has done
The guy is very active why do you make it sound like he's dormant?

"Archetype" Gowan accepted an incredible offer and has kept the Styx torch gloriously burning.

The offer he accepted was an offer to Fuck the founder of the band, The guy was not dead or terminally ill.
He should have had some class and said No Thanks, instead he ran like a fool to a job he had no right having.

He's a great singer,

Jon Anderson is a great singer
Steve Perry is a great singer
Freddie was a great singer
Gowan please the worst of the worst,

a great pianist, and a great performer.

Of someone else's material
Ya can't be a great performer of someone else's material.
That's a impersonator.

He fits Styx like a glove,

Ya the glove OJ wore.

and judging by the reaction that he gets every time I've see him with Styx, the majority of the fans like him too.

Sure fans that don't know about the original.
