Allan,

Funny you mention people have their favorite Rush eras. My brother likes the first 5 albums best (even tho he has them all). I like FTK, PW & MP mostly. I do not enjoy the 80's keyboard stuff too much. I remember buying GUP when it was released. I may have been about 13 or 14 and I thought "What is this?". However, I LOVE "Show Of Hands" because it has all the good songs from the keyboard era without all the filler. Also like Counterparts and everything after but I don't listen to it much. Ever since "Beyond The Lighted Stage" I have been listening to the first 3 albums mostly COS. I like that one.

I saw the Boston show and I've seen Rush on every tour since '88 (and Tommy opened for them when I saw them at the Spectrum in '88 ) ... this was the best Rush show I've ever seen even with some technical glitches.

I can't believe that I saw Rush way before you did, in 1982

I've been a "hardcore" Rush fan since I was a little girl, waaaaaaaaay back in the 70's (same with Styx). My brother was a fan first and I became a fan after hearing him playing his albums over and over and over.

I saw Rush back in 1982 for the first time, the last time was this past July and about a dozen shows in between. Yes, I'm one of the few females that are in the crowd - LOL I still have my original albums and cds and Geddy's solo too.

We even saw "Beyond The Lighted Stage" in the theater when it was released and also the dvd :)

BUT........... years later (recently) they ended up doing a few shows together and a possible upcoming tour. Triumph is one band that I thought would NEVER get back together due to all the lawsuits and fights. Wow!

I love Triumph, one of my favorite bands :)
