From a business standpoint it was a smart move for Gowan. He wasn't going to get his name noticed outside of Canada on his own. He already proved that years ago.



No that was the record company that would not releace his record here.He is a great find & i am thrilled we have him.


Sure, blame the record company not the artist, if thats true ir says a lot about how much faith they had in Gowan. But seems like it was a good business decision.

It was lucky for him that Canadian broadcasting had that rule about having to play a certain percentage of Canadian artist's in addition to non-Canadian. They had to fill the dead air space with something.
