Glenn Burtnik Interview Here On MR...

Postby Christopher » Mon Jul 11, 2011 5:40 am

I very much miss Burtnik in the band, and loved what he brought to them...so I'm a little embarassed to admit I'd never read this interview until just now...

So anyway...understanding that I'm afan of Burtnik's....I have to make this observation...

I wonder if he made a bet with someone before the interview that he could get away with "As so-and-so would say..." in almost every answer. God bless him...he's loaded with talent, and seems very intelligent...but that got friggin annoying about halfway through...and then near the end I started laughing, realizing he MUST have been doing it at a laugh....I hope.

I know, how many times was he gonna quote someone else??? Also, Glen is great... but to think Kiss Yor Ass Goodbye is a great song and should have been released as a single is ridiculous. It sounds like trying to re-write a Blink 182 song or Sum 41. Sorry Glen, it's one of the worst songs on Cyclorama as well as in Styx history. Killing the thing You Love is a good song though.
