Been a BIG fan of Asia since the first CD. Followed them ever since. All line-up changes too! Never really cared for any member solo or any other group. But something about them together was magic. In all line ups.

So you love ASIA yet you don't care for Yes, The Buggles, or King Crimson? Are you retarded?

That was dreadful. He has no sense of melody or time and no ability to groove to a song. So he moves his arms fast around a kit? A monkey could do that.

Don't just take my word for it ......... ask Buddy Rich :)

"The world's greatest living drummer, Carl Palmer, wowed a packed house at B.B. Kings on October 19th with his trio, treating the assembled throng to a show that included interpretations of Emerson, Lake and Palmer material, wonderful improvisatory sections and a private drum clinic.”
Steve Janowsky
ReviewFix.com

"The Carl Palmer Band was a sonic smorgasbord for these ProgRock fans. Arguably the greatest drummer since Buddy Rich, Palmer is as good now as he ever was."
Daniel Knighton
Concerts Examiner

A drummer near the height of his powers, clearly in tune with the past and the present."
Ken Micallef
Modern Drummer

Carl Palmer (ELP): Have you ever seen Carl Palmer play? Not just listened, but tried to watch? He is a god. There is, or has never been a better progressive drummer than Carl Palmer. Buddy Rich said, he is the most technically sound drummer he has ever seen. That's quite an endorsement.

Never liked the Buggles, I am just now starting to get into Yes and I am starting to like some of what I hear. But up till about a year ago never cared for Yes. And at times they get way out there and I lose interest in the song. King Crimson is OK, have a couple of their Cd's. I have all of Icon Cd's with wetton and downes, which are OK. Have about 3 or 4 wetton solo Cd's, yuck for the most part and the same with howe's. But never really cared for all that, have to really be in the right frame of mind to listen to the above. But can put Asia on anytime

Kind of like being a Journey fan and not liking any of the solo stuff or projects like the storm or bad english etc...I can see that happening and do not have a problem with that. But I like all of Journey's non journey stuff.
