I disagree. Bob and Tom tried to get stories out of him, but he deferred. I don't think he is too proud of that period.

This is just stupid. Why would he want to "glorify" those days and his actions? He does talk about them sometimes, when asked, but not as a way of saying, "Yeah, go do this, this, and this. It's great!" If anything, since he got sober, TS has always advocated being clean, and he is proud of being that way for 22+ years. He has been involved in interventions and youth programs for users. Get your head out of your ass, Toph. Drug and alcohol addictions are nothing to mock or joke about. Perhaps you are holier-than-thou and virgin clean, but to anyone who has ever dealt with addiction (either their own or someone else's, as I have), it is nothing to joke about. It's extremely difficult to climb out of that abyss, and I give full kudos to TS and everyone else who has managed it. We've lost way too many people to drugs and alcohol as it is.
Sometimes it makes no sense at all.

Rightfully so, since it was one of the things that helped cause the break up of the band in the 80's.

Looks like someone is still in denial after all these years.

No it was because one member was high as a kite most of the time and was making ridiculous decisions....

You mean like believing the people whispering in his ear that he could do just as well solo as in Styx. Wanted to perform real "rock" music and his first chance of complete control over a project puts out an album with songs like "Little Girl World" and "Lonely School"?
