You confuse me tohp.
You say JY is an underrated vocalist ,and then go on to say he is the worst singer of all time.
What is it ?

Anyways,I watched some it too,and loved Gowan's intro to 'I'm OK'.
Thought he was going into a Dennis bleeding heart kinda 'Grand Illusion' intro,
for then to turn it into a hilarious intro.
What do you think ?

Funny thing is, I didn't see any Gowan penned songs included in this performance. Come to think of it, when is the last time they played something he has written?

Funny thing is ,I didn't see Gowan in Styx when they wrote GI and PO8.
And this was a performance of those 2 albums,so how could there be any Gowan songs ?
Boomer did you like Gowan's introduction to 'I'm OK' ?
Not funny,a little bit funny, funny, not as funny as Dennis ?
I thought it was funny.I laughed and laughed.

Exactly how did you get from a post about JY's singing ability and Gowan's introduction to a song,
into Gowan's contributions to albums he wasn't on ?

I got there by your comment about Gowan. Quite simply, to me his contributions or additions are irrelevant when it comes to Styx's material. He wasn't there to write it or perform it. Other then filling a spot for the person that was partly responsible for the success of said material. Even those in charge don't seem to want his input on what the band should be doing. This is based on comments made by Gowan himself. If I remember correctly Gowan said " I used to make suggestions about what material we could perform but then I stopped and left it up to JY and Tommy". If it wasn't for Styx asking him to do Dennis' parts, I'm pretty sure Gowan's career would be pretty uneventful. At least in the U.S..
