Saw Dennis last night

Wow. What a show. Not the best venue, but they were amazing. I can't even comprehend how he still sounds that good. Other guys were really great.

Once again, a lot of the show was compromised by this breed of shitheads that want to go to these shows and talk the whole time. I mean, spend the money on a nice dinner and enjoy your conversation. Let me hear the show. It's really mind boggling. This whole table of 7 in front of us talked the entire time. Two of the guys never looked at the stage once.

Anyway, the show itself was awesome. And about 1 mile from my house, which was spectacular.

It is remarkable how intact his singing voice still is. Did he slip anything special into the set list? It's been said that he has been doing QOS.

glad you had a good time despite the venue. seen a couple bands at the Medina, and you are right a terrible venue.
too bad he couldnt play the State or Orpheum, even the Northrup.

No. He offered it up, but the crowd clapped louder for something else. Some great jams though. The band rocks.

Yea, I kept thinking about how great it would have sounded in other places. Being from CA, I've been in some places that just sound amazing. Medina Entertainment Center (or Medina Bowl as we know it) is not one of those places. I was really surprised he played there.

Not sure how much of it is an act, but he seemed so humble about people coming out to see him. That was nice.

I think that he is sincere about that. Back when he was booted from Styx, he was being encouraged to perform on his own but he didn't think people were that interested in seeing him as a solo act.
