Hi.
I'm new to the club.Have been searching for boots by Styx and am wondering if anybody out there may have some that they would be willing to trade.I am looking for up to and Crystal Ball era preferably.

I have some Equinox and Crystal Ball tour stuff. I also have a copy of the reel to reel that they made of Tommy auditioning in Nov of 75. It is 2nd gen. but sounds pretty good.
There is a funny part on it... Dennis steps out of the room to yell at his wife and Tommy says something like "If this is the best you got, in 10 years or so I will be running this show..."
Took more than 10 but he was right!

Thanx for the welcome Spacer ,and Gary I will write you.Was just thinking that I just joined the Styx group and asked for favors right away.
That may not be too tactful,like meeting new people and right off the bat asking them if you could borrow 20 bucks.Anyways,it seems like everybody is having a good time here.Maybe I can be part of it.

Hi gr8dane, I'm looking for early films of Styx too. I know there's film from a show they did in Hawaii right after Tommy joined. I found the pictures but not the film yet. The earliest I have is "grainy" footage of "Best Thing" in 1972.

I hope you find what you're looking for

There's also a concert from 1972 in Wisconsin for the Milwaukee Park Festival. Rare since John C. is on it.

That's the same footage I have of "Best Thing". I'm trying to find the rest of the film. I have it on DVD now. If anyone on here hasn't seen the footage, you can see the video on this site:

Ohh ehh

I was actually looking for live cdrs and not dvds or videos,but since you mention the one with JoCu on,now there is one I would love to see.So if any of you StyxHeads out there have some cdrs I would love to trade.I do only have Budokan 81 .But maybe I have something else cdr boots you can use.Yes no maybe.Thanx.

Let's see, on cd-r, I have 1977 Crystal Ball Tour, I think that's the earliest that I have. I also have a few 1980's, 1990's and radio interviews all on cd-r. I still have to go through my cd's and tapes to see what I have.

I have the film, but it's very rough quality. I don't copy it or watch it anymore because it's so old. Just one of those things cool to have.
