The rumor I heard is that Tommy and DDY will reenact that spine tingling moment when they talk on stage for 20 minutes about a robot while Tommy holds a duffle bag and DDY holds a plastic mask! They will even go as far as to cancel the rest of the show because the projector wont work. Yes…those were the days!

No, not yet, lol. Don't think it's impossible, though, because in all seriousness, Suite is absolutely right, the grapevine coming out of both camps has changed recently and this seems more and more a possibility. It has been destined to happen since the day Dennis got fired and even if it does not happen next year, it will happen as surely as I take my next breath. The guys are tied together in the perception of the public forever, and as it always has, that will inexorably push them back together.

Interesting we were talking about sevens yesterday, check this out . . . from the date of Tommy's first record with the band to the breakup, 1976-1983 is seven years. Then the band was inactive for seven years. The Dennis-less lineup has been together seven years now, so you might say that this is inevitable by the power of seven, lol. That's kinda bizarre, but in all seriousness, Styx has a history of periods of estrangement and periods of work that all last 5-7 years, and it seems like that's how long it takes for them to gets things out of their system and come back around, so it's not a big surprise.

There's nothing to announce yet, but like I said, the vibe out of the Styx camp in particular has changed from "Never, no way, not with that bastard" to "Hmmm, what if, interesting, nothing's impossible . . ." and that means something is up. It won't be long before they start gradually re-working their position on this in public to get people prepared, in my opinion. I guess we'll see.

Text is finished other than some tweaking, still editing pics and still have to get a couple of very important permissions. I am SO wanting to get this out for Christmas and do a special Christmas promo, but I'm getting awfully close to deadline so we'll just have to see. Either December (please God) or January.

I do not know how I feel about a reunion of Dennis with Tommy. (Glen has already taken place). But I know EXACTLY how I feel about a reunion of Dennis with JY in the mix. I hope it NEVER happens, unless JY is moving and setting up equipment, then goes down the street to sit in the truck while the concert goes on.
