Ladies and gentlemen we have some major changes...

The band has changed somewhat and this was the first show with the new lineup. Here is the band:

Hank and Tommy are gone.

Here was the set list. Let me know if you see anything odd:

Suite Madame Blue
Mr. Roboto
Rockin' the Paradise
Babe

If it's not Burtnik or Tommy doing some kinda guest thing, then IMO, HUGE mistake.

I liked Hank. Loved his laid back attitude and the way he changed hats all the time. Oh, and his wisecracks. I'll miss him.

The new guitarist, along with Jimmy and Suzanne, must be covering backup.

So Hank is touring with Dalmations.... not gone, just on Hiatus.

And Dennis says if you see him again, you will hear some different songs you haven't heard in a while.

Honestly, I'd rather Dennis sing both of those songs. It would be like Pete Townsend singing Who classics that he wrote instead of Daltry. I'd go and see Dennis sing Renegade, etc...

Go DDY! I said it a long time ago, but Dennis should do "Snowblind".. I originally suggested a DDY/Glen duet, but someone in his band could work, or possibly even solo.

I am liking that he is shaking things up a bit, changing band members, setlists, etc. Looks like he has also found a way to give his voice a rest some during the show.

Dennis has often proven that he is not one for just doing the same thing over and over and over.

DO you want to know what great story, I once heard at a Styx show? It was that Snowblind was accused of backwards satanic messages. I also heard that the devil had nothing to do with the next song. It was a great story I heard in 1983, 1991, 1996, 1997 and the two JY shows I saw in the early 90s. The story KEPT getting better and got me more fired up every time!! Since I've never seen the new bastardized Styx, tell me, does JY still say the same story - if not, he really should go back to it. It really gets better every time. At LEAST tell me that he's still asking me if I'm ready for Miss America. PLEASE? I know he only has 2 songs to sing per concert and maybe he could shake up the intros, but those are TRIED and TRUE!

Oh and is Tommy still asking if JY is buying? That gets funnier and funnier!!!
