That's what the set list say's right on the top

Intro The Message
Grand Illusion
Lady
Father OSA Intro to Lorelei
Blue Collar Man
Desert Moon
Roboto
Show Me The Way
Don't Let It End
Too Much Time
Rockin The Paradise
Babe
Fooling Yourself
Suite Madame Blue
The Best of Times
Renegade
Come Sail Away

Now that's a great STYX setlist and much better than the competition.
In my opinion its time for a new show opener, The Grand Illusion needs a break, it's time for the return of
Born For Adventure and Suite Mademoiselle.
Don't Let It End is a great song but there are better choices to put into the setlist like
I'm OK, Love At First Sight or Queen of Spades.
The show was fun and full of energy! The night was reminiscent of the summer nights back in 79.
Warm and wild. I would say there were about 7000 in attendance not bad for 0 radio advertisement.

The new band is much better and the songs are being played more true to the original versions than before.
I really dig that. The drummers style is very similar to John Panazzo's. It was nice to hear his style of drumming again not some wild maniac (Todd) flailing away.

I really believe 2011 should be the time Dennis DeYoung and Roger Hodgson bring The 2 Voices Tour to The US.
Roger has a full band now and both sides can switch off opening and closing the show.
There are many markets that have not seen them perform and with the right support and a bigger production the tour can do well IMO. The 2 Voices Tour featuring the music of STYX and Supertramp now that's the ticket.
I see them pairing up at the end of the show just as Chicago and The Doobie Brothers did in 2008.

It was an honor to go backstage and talk with Dennis who finally had a chance to meet the ever relentless Froy.
It was a buzz to hear him ask me if I was the face behind the handle Froy on the Melodic Rock board.
I was glad to answer. But YES! You bet I am. It was also nice to talk to Chuck Lafrano who enjoys reading my Froymentarys. He said with a smile I back you up all the way! I had no idea they read this board and I'm glad they do, I hope for the best for Chuck who is battling some health issues,

All in all it's nice to hear a full STYX set list, now it's time to do some real STYX shows with or without the players.

Thanks, Froy. Glad you got the chance to talk with Dennis....maybe, lol!

I think your Dennis/Roger show idea sounds really cool!

Wish I could've made the show :)

As for the setlist, this tour is kind of "The Greatest Hits" tour. You never know what he's going to add in the in next tour.

As for Dennis and Roger touring together, if I remember, Roger won't open for anyone, right? I would love to see them tour together.

I would've loved to be backstage when he met you, LOL Did you get your picture taken with him?

We needed you there for the pictures, The phone went dead so no pictures this time,
I forgot to mention the Thanks to Tim Orchard for getting myself and my girlfriend Diana the front row seats and the passes. Tim is a great guy I'm glad to know him and call him a friend.
As far as Roger who knows what he will do today we talked to him 5 years ago so now it should be revisited,
Still no dates in the US with him so it would perfect for him to join Dennis.

I feel bad, I would've loved to take the pictures for the both of you. You know how I enjoy taking pictures :)

Tim is a great guy, he's one of a kind !! He is always looking out for everyone and goes above and beyond when he can.

That would be great if Roger and Dennis would tour together and take turns. Hopefully this will happen soon, I believe the timing is perfect!

By the way, I went to Summerfest with Bob and a few friends on Friday night and we were talking about our Canada trip. Now that was a great time!! If Dennis and Roger tour together, we all HAVE to go to Canada for a few sold out shows :)

If Roger and Dennis went out we would be in the front row every show. The Canada trip was a dream come true. Interviewing Roger Hodgson and filming his show how can you beat that? His camp just like Dennis's camp are just nice people. Open and friendly, I will say when talking to Dennis it seemed like I was talking to my brother. He is just a normal guy. Easy to talk to.

Hey Dennis, since you're reading- SAVE ME and BOOMCHILD need to be in the set list! Blue Collar Man and The Message absolutely do not...
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Sorry Bry but for those of us who have stayed true it was nice to hear BCM, It's been 12 years since I heard it last so it sounded great.
Nothing wrong with The Message it's just a taped intro. As far as Boomchild I don't see it but I do see This Is The Time Instead.

Second that one! I wish he would put in one or two from the 100 Years CD. It would be nice to hear Save Me or This Time Next Year.

Back in 2007 he was playing Save Me and This Time Next Year, they were both excellent live songs, I wish he would drop Desert Moon and add at least one from 100 Years.

Froy,

Glad you had a good time and that you finally got to talk to Dennis. August, Jimmy and Craig bring a whole new dimension to the band. And Dennis' set list is fresh compared to Styx as well as more representative of what Styx was.

Nice way to begin celebrating the weekend.

Why would he continue to play songs from an album that went no where? Same thing with styx and cyclo, that's why one with everything is only played when there by themselves.

Froy-LtVanish informed me all about your expertise in the area of Styx. Too bad I didn't get a chance to say hello to you. I've been hitting MR.com since it's inception, and I go in phases of hitting the boards.

With all that being said, your review sounded very accurate. I would love to see Roger live as well. A woman I work with saw Supertramp at Poplar Creek back in '79, and I have always been envious of her.

For the decent news....I snapped at least 10 good pictures of DDY and I was in the second row behind the white fence. So, once my better half uploads them to our Picasa folder, I would be glad to send them to you via email. Send me a PM.

Color me jealous Froy, I was only able to get as far as few feet away from Dennis and Suzanne at The Taste a few years ago (remember that Laurie?). When I saw Dennis in '08 at Ridgefest I do believe he sang both "Save Me" and "This Time Next Year" :D
