Froy, I am surprised your first show is not going to feature Styx. Since you have been so vocal and supportive of DDY and "classic Styx".

By the way Froy, are we going to Canada again this Fall for Rogers concert?

You mean the Monkees' Neil Diamond tunes? :P

I went to several Neil concerts in the 70's and 80's and he puts on an amazing live show. Well, he did then. One thing I noticed was the huge variety of people in the audience -- old, young, in-between; white, black, in-between. Everyone getting into the Neil groove.

The guy knows how to put on a show and even to this day he packs huge venues.

You bet Bugs and I have a nice amount of material to edit together for a 1hr concert.
Neil never gets air time live or studio just the same old songs.
Time to change that up.

never got ND. He has the vocal range of about 5 notes. As far as concerts, yeah, I've heard his concerts are great. I just could never get into him. He's one of those guys that writes great tunes, but I just don't like his performance of them. It's weird how things are perceived so differently from different peeps.

Well, I'm not sure how Diamond (or guys like Springsteen) can be cited as good singers. Neither is.
Gowan, for what he does is decent. He's not Dennis, never said he was. I didn't say I love Gowan either, but I don't hate him "just because". The guy is talented as a pianist and as a vocalist. There are a bazillion different voices in the world. Dennis is one. Neil is one. Gowan is one. I just don't get the NeilAppeal. Seems like something for old OLD ladies.
Also, you judge Gowan singing Dennis' songs. Not really fair. Some of his own stuff is really good (some of it blows, just like Dennis', or Tommy, or even Paul's).

Neil is a great singer not sure why you don't like him, Gowan on the other hand is best fit for the VFW hall he just can't sing anything even his own material.
That's why he only made it big in Canada, just like Wayne Newton is Vegas,

Your uncapped intros are a dead give away Chickenbeef. All I know from Canada is Rush Triumph and Gordon Lightfoot.
All 3 will be in rotation on the show.
