WHO KNOWS!

I do believe Gilmour lives in London,so why not show up there.
Why fly half around the world to play a guitar solo?

Because I want him to.

Roger said he promised to play a show, which I took as meaning more than one song as Water's had done at least three songs with him for that charity gig.. I don't know if it will be three songs only or all the Floyd material.

After years of discord, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and David Gilmour are apparently on the road to reconciliation. After playing a short set together last weekend at a benefit for the Hoping Foundation in Oxfordshire, England, the duo plan to reunite at least once more, performing "Comfortably Numb" at one to-be-determined stop on Waters' upcoming tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Wall. In a post on his Facebook wall, Waters detailed the back-and-forth exchange that resulted in the reunion.

I'm going to the Nov 8th show in Philadelphia, and am looking forward to it. Would love for this to be THE show.....but I'm not counting on it. As I said before, I'd think London, or maybe NY.

If you're on the fence about going, GO.

Good to hear that. As I've said before, I'm more of a Gilmour fan (probably because of his guitar work, and frankly, I think he sounds great singing, even if he is aging and becoming more "grizzled" sounding. I'm a fan of Floyd, so I'm looking forward to this show.
I've been reading some smack on-line, where some have been complaining about some pre-recorded "support" being incorporated into the performance. I'm not talking about the change clinking on "Money" for example, but rather, vocal and instrument fills. What were your thoughts on this - did you notice that?
Also, was any music outside of the Wall performed, and if so, pony up please.

Well, this answers my question on the other thread. Never heard this before. Terrific. I'm looking foward to The Wall show in November. Signing off soon. Have to take my kids to the local Halloween parade (GAWD), then the Phillies fight for their lives tonight.

Keiferb wrote:5 days and counting. Can't wait. Hey Beardie, is it The Wall only, or are any other Floyd/Waters classics included?
