OT- Waters tour, has Gilmour showed up anywhere yet?

I've been watching it pretty closely. No appearance yet. There is some speculation that he might show up at Madison Square Garden this week.

I hope he shows up in St. Louis or Tacoma WA. That's where I will be.

I am seeing The Wall at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum. While that may seem like an unlikely place, there is some Pink Floyd history there. Besides Pink Floyd recording 1 or 2 live albums there, it was one of only 2 venues in America where the original Wall shows were staged.

I would venture a guess that one of these shows (if not more than one) is being video'd for a future DVD release. Wouldn't surprise me if whatever show that is, is the one Gilmour shows up at. And that, I would think, is most likely to occur in London, their own turf. Gilmour recorded Remember That Night at the Royal Albert Hall. Not that one has anything to do with the other.

I'll be at the Philly show on Nov. 11. I doubt it will be one of the Philly shows but who knows.

Cannot wait for the show in Philly in Nov. Found the following from Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder on YouTube. His solo from "On the Turning Away" may be Gilmour's best moment (well really, he has many) aside from Comfortably Numb.

Now, I'm REALLY juiced to see Gilmour join Waters. I'd have to believe that no matter when it occur, it would become part of a DVD at some point. Assuming it does happens, it will be the last time they play together.

It was just the Wall, a couple of songs were extended a bit with extra guitar solo's, plus it has a 20 minute intermission between album sides.
I really want to see this again, I wish I had enough scratch for the Garden show on Sat.

Well, I can tell you he didn't show up in Philly (at least not night 1 anyway). TERRIFIC show though. Wow. And Waters sounded fine. A dizzying array of technology. 25 video projectors, 130 speakers, and a 66 member stage crew. Impressive. Explains why the tickets were so expensive. Had floor seats about 14 rows back. The stinkin' pig almost landed on me.

Good time. I'd suggest this show if coming to your town.

I saw Gilmour's Floyd during the Division Bell Tour at the Oakland Coliseum in 94. . Since I'll probably never get to see David and Roger on stage together at the same time I really need to pony up the cash to see Water's show when he comes to Staples.

You suck. I desperately wanted to go to that show in Philly, but it was the year I got married (same stinkin' month, as I remember). Thus, not two nickels to rub together. Told the wife "We'll catch them next time". 16 years later, I had to "settle" for Waters. You should go. I tell you, you will regret not doing so.

BTW, what was your impression of the Division Bell Tour. I have the PULSE DVD (from that tour), which I like quite a bit. I do think I like Gilmour's "Remember That Night", and "Gdansk" better.
