Ahhh ok I see... A wise choice. Laura's iMac is in the living room too that way we always know what she's doing.

You'd be amazed how fast 5 year olds can go from playing Care Bear online video games to SHOPPING for Care Bears on eBay and Amazon.com. :-\

I really hadn't noticed any changes in the avatars lately. I guess I just see things through my own filters. If I stare at my Doc Holliday pic long enough, he starts looking like Brooke Burke, but that could happen anywhere...like a deserted island or prison perhaps.

That is one hell of a man :P :D There's nothing wrong with eye candy
as long as it's done in a respectful manner :D . Now I would get offended if I saw porno here :? As for my kids they tend to occupy themselves cause if I see them messsing around I put their butts to cleaning since they got so much time on their hands. :D (their rooms & their restroom
) Then again my kids are teens :D

Life is WAY too short!! I'm going to take advantage of having all the time for myself while I can. There's going to be a time, gasp, probably soon, that I'll have to get a real job.

So until that time comes, I'm going to sit at home eating my bon bons, which are very yummy, watch my soap operas, work out, go tanning, go to all the concerts, play bingo, volunteer at school, run to the battery store and live out my soap opera life!! :D

Life is good, just stay positive and live your dreams!!

My vote goes with "You can post whatever pictures you want but it does not mean I have to like them."

I have always thought some avatars and sig photos can be hugely distracting, especially if they are animated or too big. Doesn't matter who or what they are. But that is just me.

Says Miss Likes-Dennis-In-His-Tight-Jeans-Baseball-Jersey-And-Long-Hair-Phase. Not gonna change it. :P :)

Do you think my Tommy is too big?? LOL I know, you're the wrong person to ask on that one. I do need to shrink him a bit, I'll work on that now. I just love that picture - LOL

Avatars and kids...ah well.

My son is 8. He wanders in and out of the room where the computer is. It is up to me to determine for him (at least for now) what is or isn't acceptable for him to view.

I guess it's all about personal choice and preference. I respect the diversity we all have in what we like...or dislike. It is the music that brought us here to be sure...but...I'd hate to think that is all anyone should be allowed to talk about.

And I will always respect those who can morph Doc Holiday into Brooke Burke. Not to mention the selflessness of those posing after working out on their bowflexes...

Oh? Might want to send Andrew McNiece that memo, that you're in charge of this area of quality/content control now. Because back when HE was running things he used to say this was a family place.

Look, I saying therer is nothing wrong with the eye candy on here, I just told you why I voted no. Before Hurricane Katrina, I didn't have the problem of kids comong up behind me (not that I was trying to hide anything, feel like I'm hiding things now having to keep a watch out for things on here). But each there own-ERIC

viewing pleasure  And why must you go running to Andrew when anyone else other that Deano post something of his nature :?:

Andrew McNiece can verify that I have never once yet run to him crying about another poster unlike some of you Heads. If I care to dress you down, I will do so without wasting his time.

You miss the point that it is NOT a public forum, nor do you call the shots make the rules and deem what is or is not uncensorable. He does and it's his prerogative. It is our privelage to be here. I WILL bring his name up when I feel posts are disrespectful of him which rooting JourneyTool on is. If you took a second and looked at Year In Review .... Who in hell are YOU anyway
