So do a lot of us, but your knee jerk reply was out-of-place, and the profanity is getting a little old, especially from someone who prides himself on being intelligent. Nobody in this thread was using the Styx forum as a whipping boy - Mike is a huge Styx fan. He's done band interviews, as well as given a lot of cool stuff to Styx fans. He has NEVER been a sh*t-stirrer. The guy teasing Froy about Neil wanting to use Journey for a paycheck was being sarcastic - I'm sure you knew that. It was FROY he was talking to, for pete sake.

Come now - don't put me on a pedestel I never asked for. And I'll use any words I want to use. If you don't like my language - then you can close your eyes and scroll down. If it's good enough for other people to use, then it's fine for me.

My language may be "getting old" for some, but no older than the smug elitist attitudes of some who enjoy making the conversation about themselves. (and before you ask - I will not clarify what I mean )

I'm glad he's a Styx fan and I'm happy as a clam that he enjoyed himself at a journey show.... but everytime the journey board closes, this board fills with refugees trying to change the subject. Like we don't already have enough to bicker about over here without outside interference

Ash, after the last time the journey board was closed I think we all understood that Journey talk was not to be a primary topic on the Styx board. But you should remember that the two bands have a similar story and many fans shared between them. I didn't see you blowing up at anyone else who might have mentioned Journey.

Fact is: this thread was labelled O/T. If you didn't want to know about it you didn't have to read it. And you definately did not have to comment on it. So Journey is a sore spot for you....it is a solid point that you (no one) went off like this in the Barry Manilow thread.
