Nah... I would never put Tommy in that category. I think he's made some bad decisions, but I don't believe he's as genuinely as bad of a person as JY. (My opinion).

And HOLY CRAP... Thanks for the spelling point out. I honestly had no idea I was screwing that up. I get ticked when people spell "ridiculous" as "rediculous" and the way I have been spelling hypocrite is just as bad.

Consider the adjustment made.

Thanks english teacher Zan :) Can I have my spanking now?

That being said, for those of us who frequent places like this, or for the casual fan who enjoys what they brought (again, any incarnation of the band), the band doesn't die. Life gives everyone the option to accept and move on, or to rail against that which we feel we cannot accept.

For me, I choose to respect that the band has done some amazing work in its lifespan. When that lifespan ceases, I will continue to enjoy that work. It's enough for me.

Peace to all

Well said, Sadie!

JY's voice does sound bad now, not terrible but just like most who age, they don't sound like they used to. I don't like the way Dennis sounds on the most of the Styx songs now even though he has a very good voice. It just doesn't sound right for most Styx songs. It sounds like he is trying to sing in a broadway show. I compare him to Elton John. Elton says he didn't know how to sing properly during his hey day ('70's) but his voice had soul and was a perfect fit at the time. Now I don't enjoy his music. Same with Dennis. His voice may be (better) now but it is not a good fit for Styx music. When I listen to Styx music live, I want to hear it from a rock voice. Dennis got rid of that voice a long time ago. Dennis rocks now? C'mon. He's old and acts like it. JY and Tommy are old also, but they don't act like it on stage and that's what I want to see.
