Wonder if they plan to record\film this show and release a live album\DVD of it? Could give them another excuse to try and erase DDY out of Styx.

ehhh....

I guess. I've already seen most of those cuts live with the exception of "Lords of the Ring" and "Po8"...

However, if there was a DVD of this, I'd get it.

I want a Video of the Cyclo tour (Sorry Froy)
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

For the first time since when they will be unable to close with Renegade. Not to mention actually hearing the album version instead of 15 mins of fluff.

I doubt that they'll change that stuff.
Listen to the live version they do of Come Sail Away. Pretty much the same live arrangement since 1977.
Same with other tunes they do. I bet they keep the same arrangements.

I doubt it, they have to be consistant with the album now, I think it will be the album versions. So what will they close the show with now? Too Much Time On My Hands is my guess. Unless they close with "The Grand Finale".

My interest in Styx will be reinvigorated if this show is taken across the country. Swallow your pride and play a theater tour for the diehard fans. Castle Walls alone will be worth the price of admission.

It would be awesome if they did:
THE GRAND ILLUSION
intermission
PIECES OF EIGHT
encore
Strange Animal
One With Everything

Sorry, but NO. Genesis is my 2nd favorite band behind Styx. And I have all their albums also. There are no similarities. I'm OK (The LYRICS) is SOOOO Dennis. PERIOD!

I like Gowan, but I don't "Get" Strange Animal. It's SO dated sounding to me.
The Good Catches Up, there's a great song and a pretty decent album with the exception of one or two tracks.

They weren't consistent on the GI20th Tour or the Paradise Theatre 96 Tour. They did the same endings for those songs that they've always done. I dunno, maybe you're right, but I doubt they'll change their live endings.

You need your head examined Castle Walls by Gowan is worthless.
So what you are saying is a Dennis song sung by some impersonator is worth the entire price of the show. get real man,
You are a 20 year old who just does not know how good real Styx was.
How does it feel to be fooled?

Really? "I'm Ok" doesn't sound like anything Genesis would do :?

ever heard of a little song called the squank?

There is no Genesis song called "The Squank". You're really up on them (not!).

I assume you're talking about "Squonk" on A Trick of the Tail. I don't hear the similarity and I'm a big fan of ATotT. "Squonk" is brooding and heavy. "I'm OK" is uptempo.

omg it's pretty much the same song

I had a Trick of the Tail and P08 in my car forever in the late 70's and listened to them both constantly. Never once did I see any similarities between I'm OK and Squonk. They are not even about the same things! I guess you are hearing something similar when Dennis and Phil are singing, especially when Dennis screams "I'm OK", but they have such different voices.
I'm OK is so Dennis because of the lyrics and the positive upbeat message. And the signature incredible unmatchable voice.

This is just ChickenBeef starting trouble on here. She/He/It just likes to get things going on here. Once she/he/it is banned again, they'll just back with another name causing the same trouble.

I guess we should just ignore "She/He/It"!!! However, She/He/It DID get me thinking about Genesis again. I haven't listened to a Genesis CD in a long time. Think I'll pop Abacab in the CD Player on the way home!!!
