I just don't get the current version of Styx. To me the line up of DDY, JY and TS is the only relevant version of the band. That was when they did their best work. This of course is just my opinion. I was merely poking fun at the folks that think Styx draws huge crowds wherever they go. The reality is that they only do that when they are on a tour with other bands. The people coming to those shows are not just there to see Styx. Although, some would like to think that's the case.

you may have a good point, but since i am one of those that think Styxs is great(LOL) i will continue to beleive its because of them !!

As with any band it IS really difficult to out do the original members but it has been done a few times in the past.

AND thats IMHO

Yes we do and i for one (and with 1499 others) will enjoy the show and will happily plan for the next time they come around LOL!!

A post like this just shows how blind you are. Do you actually think that everyone is just pleased as punch that Gowan is in Styx? Let's be realistic here. You also forget that it may not just be because DDY is no longer part of Styx. Some people may have liked the current Styx is they chose someone other then Larry Gowan. I know you seem to be a huge fan of Gowan and that's not a problem but please get a grip.

It is a copulation of all the members that make up Styxs, yes some may have influenced the band more then others
but it is still the entire band that makes them great

like i said before i DO enjoy watching Gowan perform but thats my opinion and im intitled to that opinion as well as anyone else is entitled to theirs!!
