I would like to interupt the spiral of this thread for something intelligent ......... but instead, you get this:
I gotta agree with Froy on this one. The bitterness really shows through when you hear him answer a question like that in a radio or tv interview. Not to mention he keeps going back to his "Hockey in Hell" quote from Behind the Music. Like many of you have stated before, "It's been 6 years, get over it already".
I don't blame JY for reiterating his BtM quote for each time he's asked "The Dennis Question" because, quite frankly, this question is going to be asked by fans for days, weeks, months, years, and decades to come. No other band in history that has replaced a singer has had the luxury so, in other words, JY and the rest of Styx realizes that the chances of fans not asking that question each time they give an interview is directly purportional to the chances of Dennis being of part of Styx again -- both of which essentially boils down to never.
Agree to disagree and move on.
Like I said once before, it could be worse.
If JY wanted to be a real bastard, he could say, "It's been 6 years - what rock have you been living under?!?!"
I bet it's tempting as all hell for him to say that, too, sometimes (he's human afterall).
