Haha, maybe I should've put in a disclaimer that I own seven Styx CDs, a DVD, and claim them as one of my top 15 favorite bands...

The 2 homos quote comes from the Movie "Stripes". I like Asia, just not as much as Styx. I'm surprised that I was the only one "defending" Styx when you and Higgy were talking about how great Asia was. I think most Styx fans are probably Asia fans as well.

Probably because no one was slamming Styx. I'm pretty sure that Tommy Shaw and Dennis Deyoung would tell you that Yes's or Asia's musicianship is far more intricate than Styx's. JY would probably not admit it but, as we all know, songs like Homewrecker kick the ass of anything by Asia, Yes, ELP, etc.

I only know the couple songs from Asia that they played on the radio. They never impressed me enough to make me go out and buy one of their albums.
I wouldn't want to see Styx play with them. Their sound is too different. I wouldn't want to see them with the Scorpions, either. Also because they sound too different. And the Scorpions I have bought a couple of their albums/cassettes. A few times actually since they tended to "disappear".
