Here's another screen shot from last year's Kansas City show. Man, but it only looks like about 49,982 people...Oh well.

I'll see what I can do. I wasn't there, so it's going to be hard for me to obtain a ticket stub, Froy (you are such a 'tard for asking for that). They were a headliner, as was KISS & Sting on other days, but that's all the info I have at the moment.

And just so's were clear: You ARE aware that they played the Superbowl 30 minutes before the game now, right??? Just want to make sure you read that part. ;-)

Sure Kiss and Sting was who ya paid for Styx was again leaching in the package
I said by them self not with STING AND KISS
Who cares they can play there same 12 songs in the middle of the Kentucky Derby and they still will suck.
You can show me all the pictures you would like but make sure you show me that stats on the cds sales
Fact is nobody is buying not even JY
Also look up the top 50 grossing tours of 09 and see where they fit in or don't

OOps. I meant to post the Quebec City 2009 picture with Gowan in it. Which, by the way, was 78,000 people. Fact:

How are you getting 49000 from that? And how many other bands were on the bill? Froy's right - they can only draw about 2,000 when its them alone or when they aren't a part of a bigger event....

Kiss and Sting were on different nights.
Styx had their OWN night.
Pull your head out of Dennis' ass, and read the page if you know how..
July 15th-STYX.

Face it.....you're wrong. You are proven wrong with facts. Now it's time for you to hide and disappear while saying nothing because you are proven dead wrong and ridiculous in this public forum. Not that this has ever stopped you from blathering on.
You may have your opinions but that doesn't make them fact. Your delusions of grandeur are exposed for all to see.

You told me to "show you a ticket,"
There's the website, buddy. Suck it.

Froy, I think my providing you with the website information regarding the Quebec Festival more than met your requirements on your first "dare." However, for your information, this show was an REO/Styx double bill. That's it. The photo was taken around 8:00 pm, and it was still daylight. I'm not making it up, like you do, it is the truth.

Yes, Toph, I threw the 49,982 number out there without counting. It is a HUGE audience. Comment not meant to be taken literally.

FOR THE RECORD: I don't give a flying fig whether you or Froy or anyone thinks Styx is still "relevent" or not. What I do care about is ignorant statements or opinions being presented as "facts" when in FACT, they are not. Froy posted a challenge to show him ONE ticket with Styx as headliner that drew 50,000. I showed him the photo and provided him with a link to the website. He continues to avoid reality and is inventing "facts" of his own because he can't just admit he is typing out of his ass (not that the rest of us don't already know it, mind you). KISS and Sting played that festival, yes. ON different nights. The picture I posted was Styx's night. "Jonas" (whoever the hell they are) opened for them.

I am not ignorant to the fact that bands like Styx, REO, Foreigner, Kansas, et al usually need to co-tour to sell out large venues. I never claim they are just as popular as they were in 1981. On the same token, I also never claim that things would be ANY different if DeYoung was still with the band. THAT is the difference between me and people like you & Froy. The lack of interest in nostalgia acts and Gowan being in Styx are not synonymous with one another. STYX is a business just as much as it's a band. I've ALWAYS understood that, even when I was a teenager. I don't know why some grown adults don't.

I wish I understood what the exact malfunction is with fans like you & Froy, but I cannot. Everyone in the band, past and present, is over it. Most of the fans are over it. But you guys carry on, beating your drums like it carries any weight at all. By all means, have your opinions. You hate Gowan's voice, you think he's arrogant (which makes me laugh a little), you think the harmonies are gone, the band sucks, they look like shit, Steve Smith is a better drummer than Todd, JY is a dick, whatever...Just spare everyone the lawyerese speak presenting bullshit facts from fairyland.

God, I miss Adam. That guy had a grip.

You don't know the meaning of the word "hypocrite," nor do you know the meaning of the word "fact."
