So what do you think of it?

All I can say, is I am very dissapointed, VERY.

1) I will not buy this. I will download it (for free) Why? I bought disk 1, and I would have bought disk 2. But I can't. Now I would have to both disk 1 and 2 just to get disk 2.
2) So my question why the hell would they treat their fan base this way. No wonder people steal music when they pull stupid crap like this. I am a fan of this line, all line ups. It is about the music. Styx is making it about the money and ego!!!!

You could have bought it at their website or at a show. That is where STYX released it.

The LABEL released packaged together - NOT STYX.

So, my question is why do you blame Styx for something they are not only not responsible for, but also ignore the fact that you have been perfectly capable of buying THEIR release all along?

I have not been to a Styx show since 07 (did have tickets for the GI/PO8 show, but had to work)
I bought the first one off I tunes, they never put the second on there. So yeah it is their fault on that. Instead of following 1 with 2 on I tunes they signed a deal (can't blame them for that), and released it on a record label. So yeah I am pissed at that. I do not buy Cd's anymore, have not in 3 years. I got rid of all 1,400 Cd's I had. everything is wma now, and yes it is backed up.
So I am not ignoring the fact of anything.
Anyway, it was posted on Rhapsody, so I downloaded it last night.

Well, you said, "I would have bought disk 2, but I can't." The truth is, you can. What you meant to say is that you can't buy it on iTunes. Ok, fine...but, I still think it's a bit odd to get all upset at the band about it.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to get mad at the band. Don't they have any say what happens to their final product? I don't know the deal here, but it seems kinda stupid if only one of these discs is on iTunes and the other is not. it's not like it's a bonus disc or anything.

for what it's worth, i subscribe to Rhapsody. Unlike iTunes, you can listen to the whole song without downloading it. I listened to the whole album and decided i wouldn't buy it.

Buy it on CD, problem fixed.

The funny thing was the little voice I heard just before the keyboard lead on Fooling Yourself. It sounded like someone saying "Come On Jay Gowan" But then I heard for the first time buried deeper in the mix something similar on the original. Anyone know what's being said?

If you're referring to the voice heard just before Dennis' keyboard solo during the break in the middle of the song (on the original), it's Tommy saying, "Come on, Doctor." Doctor was Dennis nickname in the old days, a reference to the bag of medicines he used to carry around. I don't know what Tommy says nowadays, unless it's "Come on, Gowan."
Sometimes it makes no sense at all.

It's "c'mon, Mr. Gowan". I think "c'mon, Doctor" sounds soooo much better though.
