I belong to a classic rock message board and, after a discussion of Bands Reunited, I asked the question, which bands have stayed together, intact, without intra-band dissention etc. etc.

One of the answers that came back (and there weren't many) was U2.

I am sorry I missed them I was sleepy after watching Dennis on Jimmy Kimmel the night before. :D

U2 is one of the few bands that have remained intact for all these years. They have transcended generations and put out an album aver 3 or 4 years or so.

But don't forget that their political activist side is always in favor with those in charge of programming. And that may have some efffect on how they have been embraced by the industry. It is a fact that can't be at least contemplated as having an impact.

But that being said, they still put out great music. Their sound is similar to what it was in the olden days, yet has been updated enough to keep with the current times.

They simply are amongst the best in rock
