Yogi,

The honest to Gods truth is, it WOULDN'T surprise me if something like this happened to Styx or Dennis....if it were a poster here, that would surprise me....here's why.

There are a lot of sick people in the world, but it seems to me based on past instances those with a propensity for violence are those who hold their feelings in until they literally explode into violent acts. Look at mark David Chapman, heck, he got John Lennon to autograph a CD for his the same day of the assasination, and he professed to ( in a sick way ) worship him.

On the other hand, who really knows ? if this sort of act were predictable someone would do so, and stop it before it happens, wouldnt they ?

As John Lennon once wrote "Life is what happens to you while your busy making other plans......."

I'll bet the Death of Dime Bag has a lot of Artists doing alot of serious thinking about their safety at live performances.

How about everyone just delete all their posts in this thread. It's the holiday season and this should be a happy time. I admit it's been a little heated in here lately. Maybe some of us should do a llittle self evaluation and bring the best sides of ourselves to the board. We all pretty much know where all of us in here stand on the Styx issue. We like to tweak each others point of view and put forward our own versions of what we perceive to be the truth. All of us have have crossed someone's line at one point or the other. The incident with that idiot that jumped on stage should remind all of us about how passionate fans are about bands and their members. Let's hope that it doesn't happen again.

We can all agree that what ever we consider our own personal version of this band. That that version of the band brought us happiness in our own lives. And that should be good enough.

Let's treat each other nicely and remember what the spirit of this time of year is about.

Merry Styxmas

yeah, it's all about this guy who got nailed to a tree 2000yrs ago for believing it was a good idea for everybody to be nice to each other for a change.

How depressing.

man !

Leave your computer for a half hour today, and you miss ALOT !

Yogi and Froy, I respect you both for the amount of passion you bring to this board, you both add to the character of this place.
Just go easy on each other, and leave the personal attacks off the board.

on a mediocre CD I once heard the Lyric "life.......is good." appeared.

Oh, and Monker, not to go all religous on you here but, alot of us believe that guy nailed to a tree provided us our ticket to an awesome eternity, so we celebrate his birth, and try to share our joy with others above and beyond our duty to stimulate the economy ! ( end of sermon )

seasons greetings to all !

Yogi, that's okay, I've been there before.

Have a great weekend :)

Pieces, do you know if this is their first network appearance and do you know if they're going to be on more shows? Believe it or not, I don't have time to check.

Suite, yes this is their first appearance performing since reforming. They did appear on the Billboard awards, but did not perform. They will also be performing on the Spike TV Video Game Awards on Tuesday, December 14th.

Jimmy rules! He is the first to get the Crue and he had Dennis on. 8)

Tickets for some shows go on sale this Saturday!

Thanks :)

I bought my tickets for the Milwaukee show this week.

If anyone is going to buy tickets for their area and have a presale through Ticketmobster - the presale code is: dirt

I'm looking forward to seeing them on Jimmy's show tonight. :)

I guess I should have wrote Off Topic, but anyway I did catch Motley Crue last night and thought they were pretty good. I don't know if it was the studio, but Vince's singing seemed a little different, I can't place my finger on it. I also didn't know that he had a "face lift", aww all those reality shows - LOL

They still rocked :)
