Off another board:

Styx's first four albums will be collected on a new retrospective titled The Complete Wooden Nickel Recordings, to be released February 15th. Named after the group's original label, the two-CD set collects 1972's self-titled debut, 1973's Styx II and The Serpent Is Rising, and 1974's Man Of Miracles. In addition to the 34 original tracks from those albums, the box set includes the bonus cut "Unfinished Song" from the Styx II sessions.

The Serpent Is Rising was the group's first album to chart, hitting Number 192 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
Styx II hit Number 20 in 1975, after "Lady" became a belated Top 10 hit.
All four albums feature original guitarist John Curulewski, who left the group in 1975 and was replaced by current member Tommy Shaw.
Styx recently released a cover of the Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" online. The group is planning to release a full album of covers in 2005.

I am sure the inclusion of Unfinished Song will make someone here very happy...right Suite

Really cool! I might buy this one as a collector's item and the fact that "Blue Collar Man" and "Shooz" are nowhere in sight.

Not to mention...no Miss America. A song I have never really enjoyed.

I hope it's released on iTunes Music Store so I can get Unfinished Song by itself. I don't want to have to spend a ton of money to get one song I don't have in a "pure format" (although I did encode it from my vinyl record).

You bet!!! When I first read this it made me the happiest person - LOL But then thinking about it more, "Unfinished Song" won't be the rare find that was fun to find. It was fun to pass along the song that a lot of people never heard before

I'm still happy, thanks for posting Sadie
