Styx at playoff game?

I thought I saw something about Styx doing the National Anthem and some of "Renegade" at Sunday's Steelers/Patriots playoff game.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Anway, I put it here for those of you who enjoy this lineup. Perhaps they may get a little TV time?

Tommy posted that info on Styxworld the other day. So the answer is yes they will play the national anthem and a bit of renegade at the game. They are hoping to get national airplay.

Performing at the national anthem will be Star Search winner, 13-year-old Tiffany Evans, who has a debut album being released in March. The national anthem is being provided by the NFL. Zambelli International will complement the national anthem and pre-game ceremonies with fireworks.

OK, so they WON'T be there. Wha' happened? Were they dis-invited.

That was what I saw before. Someone posted on another site what Tommy had written on the Styx website.

Perhaps just a scheduling conflict.

No, they won't be there now. If read Styxworld a few days ago, Tommy wrote that they will be there. If you read his not now, it's changed. It doesn't mention performing there, it mentions being in the studio.

No matter who sings the National Anthem or if they perform during halftime like they have been doing over the past several years, somebody will be freezing. Isn't football great!!
