DDY is back in Styx they have been asked to headline a 6 band all day summer festival at Soldier Field....what would be your line up....remembering not only do you want your fave bands but as a promotor you need to make money and you need to be realistic you cant for instance have Pink Floyd as opener.......here goes.

First Band

1PM - 2PM NIGHTRANGER ......Jack and de boys give us a rocking start.

2.30PM - 3.30PM....... SAMMY HAGAR......Its party time

4PM - 5.00PM...... TRIUMPH.....reunite with Rik Emmet for one off show.

5.30pm - 6.45PM...... TED NUGENT.....Uncle Ted & the guys rock Chicago

7.15PM - 8.30PM..... JOURNEY....Special Guests get us warmed up for the main event.


9.00PM - 11.15PM STYX.... Bring Soldier Field to its knees with a great show featuring Jack & Ted joining them for a couple of Damn Yankees songs and an all star jam at the end with members of the other bands.

Well, I think this one that you nailed sounds just dandy to me.
Let's throw in a little jam between Uncle Ted, Tommy and Jack and I'd be a happy camper as long as Lawrence doesn't join Tommy and Jack again on 'High Enough'
You have nailed many of my favorites with this one. The fact that you threw Sammy in there is especially what made me say let's just do yours period. Sammy is the coolest/nicest rock star around. All I have been watching lately is all of my dvd boots of his solo shows and his shows with VH. Man the VH stuff from 1989 is just frickin' great. Sammy's voice was prime and his hair at that time was just, ah, RAD!

I have a great Sammy concert on video from Chicago....a venue called the Horizon. I also have him in concert on video at the Cabo Wabo....I have loads of Styx videos. Apart from the official released stuff i have...

All of my stuff is on dvd-r and I have no burner. If I did, they would play anywhere. I can turn anything into a vhs, but only NTSC.
Here's just a bit of what I have. I am still updating my list as I go through things. I am still working on my Styx/Dennis list...and only what's on dvd-r, so that's why there's nothing listed for them. If there's something specific, just ask.

Not bad,not bad at all.
Journey would have to be the original,as without Joey P.As when they were really good and non-commercial.
Scorps w/Roth were killer fershure.
The tix for this would be EXPENSIVE.

I listed just my Styx and Sammy stuff....I have tonnes of other stuff including Tommy Shaw 4 hour video doing the Borders book stores for promoting 7DZ
Night Ranger on stage doing a 50 minute accoustic show in Maine
Damn Yankees live in Japan
Journey live in NC 2001
Van Halen at 5150 studio doing Dreams & Wont Get Fooled Again
and tonnes more....when I get a chance I will list all i have.

I don't think Sammy Hagar would play before Triumph if this would to happen. He would want to perform probably after Ted Nugent, Journey, or Styx. That is just my opinion.

No Pieces Of Eight my video plays PAL and NTSC, so I am OK also I am moving to Florida this year so I will have no problem buying new stuff.
