Question about general admission at house of blues chicago

I got tickets for the "lost treasures" show and since all the tickets are general admission was wondering a few things about the show. I actually was inside the place a few years ago for a few beers but not for a concert.
just a couple of questions

1. how is seating determined? i.e. is it first come first server? i.e. is it good to get there early?
2. is there a bad seat in the house?

Thanks.

There are no seats its a stand up show the entire time
Its not really that important to get there early unless you want to stand in front of the stage, You could stand for 2 hours if your first in
Not a bad seat in the house even though there are no seats ,

Doors open at 7:30pm, it depends on how bad you want to be in front. I'll be waiting outside in line early in the morning - JUST KIDDING!!!!

I don't want to be too close to the stage, I'm hoping to see the whole stage & band and everything :)

This show's going to be GREAT!!!

I can't wait to hear "Pieces of Eight" live again!!!!!

"Unfinished Song" - YES

"I'm Okay" - Don't know, they're working on it. It doesn't sound like he wants it to sound live :?

"Best Thing" - Maybe, sounds good while practicing :)

That's all I'll say, actually that's all I know - LOL I want to know the songs that will be played but at the same time I want to be surprised.

I was very impressed with "Pieces of Eight", I'm so happy that it's been added.

Waving right back at you Sadie 8)

Should be a GREAT show!! I'm looking forward to this concert!!!

I've been listening to my Styx cd's this week  , I really would like to hear "Queen of Spades" live. I'd like to add that one to my Dennis live concert "wish" list. Oh, I'd also like to hear "Back To Chicago" live again. I know he played that at last year's Chicago show.

Okay, now I want to hear "Borrowed Time" live. But how would the song start out? It's no longer the 80's, or would it be kept in since it's part of the original song?

I still don't think I like that "yes" "no" parts in the song. I guess I would have to hear it with out it.

Yep, this song has to be added to my "wish" list. I guess I'm getting greedy and asking for a 5 hour show of songs I want to hear live - LOL

Well, for a Japan concert he says "Don't look now but there goes the moustache!" He has many choices, I would think, for BT. It is a very topical song that would fit perfectly today, just as it did in 1979.

Oh, and my hand it up for Chicago too. 8)

And I shake your hand Bugsy 8)

I can't wait!!

I just played "Borrowed Time" again and again. I hope this one will be added. Yep, I guess he could add anything and it would work :)

Borrowed Time is one of my closet favorite Styx songs and I would welcome it to either the DDY or Styx setlist.

Patience isn't a strong suit for you is it?

I like the yes/no bit. And I agree with Bugsy. He has many options to open it with...should he choose to perform it.

Queen Of Spades is a great song - they played it in 97 during the grand illusions tour at pine knob - magnificient.

maybe he'll throw in the lost treasure "The Grove of Eglantine" always have thought that song is awesome.

That is so CUTE!!! Hope to meet you (and Musicboy) down in Chicago :)

Just a heads up, the only advertising for the HOB show has been the internet and Dennis' website. A few weeks before the show, it will be promoted. So if you didn't buy your ticket(s) yet, I would recommend buying them

I think the only time you'll be able to hear a few of these "extras" will be at the Chicago, NYC and maybe one more show that hasn't been listed yet.
